| Mean, median and mode
This activity is designed for players to find the mean, median and mode of a given set
of numbers. There are two levels available for this game, easy and difficult.
|
| Angles
Players learn how to identify or classify the different angles used in scoring football
goals
|
| Exchange Rates
Handling money is an important skill. When travelling to a different country it is often
necessary to be able to convert money to the local currency. This activity focuses on methods used for currency conversion.
|
| Speed, distance and Time
The player must determine the various relationships between speed, distance and
time.
|
| Number Patterns
A set of numbers that are arranged in order according to a rule form a pattern or
sequence. This activity engages the player to identify the pattern and apply relevant
formulas to calculate numbers in the sequence.
|
|
|
| Nutrition
Nutrition data is represented by bar graphs that consist of bars of equal width. The
height or length of each bar shows the magnitude or frequency of the item of data.
Players assess and assign the numerical values to compare nutritional values across
a range of foods.
|
| Heart Rates
The goal is to understand the effect of various activities on your pulse rate, by
understanding the effect of exercise on football players and supporters.
|
| Fitness Testing
In selecting a team the fitness of players needs to be assessed. A weighted scoring
method is applied to player tasks such as their capability to perform push-ups and situps
etc. This concept is used in order to determine which players reach a sufficient
level of fitness in order to play.
|
| Body Mass Index (BMI)
This is an activity to check on the fitness level of players in terms of their weight and
height ratio. It uses the standard Body Mass Index (BMI) formula to assess players.
|
| Football Injuries
Spot and treat the injury. The player learns how to predict, diagnose and treat or
stabilise the various injuries that could occur at a soccer match.
|
All activities can be played individually or as part of a section or the overall game.
The activity score is calculated based on number of goals scored. A goal is scored
for each activity that is completed with all correct answers. Section scores are
calculated based on the number of goals achieved in a section. The overall score is
based on the total number of goals achieved across all activities in all sections. The
user’s score is tracked for the duration of the overall game session.
